Dr. Ebtesam Al-Ketbi is a founder and president of the Emirates Policy Center and one of the first Arab women to lead an influential think tank. A professor of political science at United Arab Emirates University and a member of the Consultative Commission of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Dr. Ebtesam Al-Ketbi is also a founding member of the Emirates Human Rights Association. Her published works include: “The Security Dimensions of Military Relations Between GCC countries and the USA” and “Democratic Transformations in GCC Countries. Dr. Ebtesam Al-Ketbi also serves as a member of the board of directors of the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington DC.

Ehud Yaari is a leading expert on Middle Eastern affairs, Yaari is a fellow at The Washington Institute for Near East Policy. A Middle East commentator for Israel’s Channel two television, he is the author of eight books on the Arab-Israeli conflict and received numerous awards for journalism for his media coverage of the middle east during this last two decades. He is a regular contributor to New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Foreign Affairs, and Atlantic Monthly.

Benjamin Haddad is the director of the Future Europe Initiative at the Atlantic Council. He is an expert in European politics and transatlantic relations. Before moving to the Atlantic Council, he was a fellow at Hudson Institute in Washington DC. His work has notably advocated for transatlantic unity in the face of Russian aggression, greater European responsibility, and investment on strategic matters. His recent book “Paradise Lost: Europe in the World of Trump” makes the case for greater European unity in a world of new challenges and threats.

Mbarka Bouaida (Morocco) is a Moroccan politician who served as Minister-Delegate of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation in the Benkirane government. In July 2019, she was elected president of the southeast region Guelmim-Oued Noun, the first woman elected as a Moroccan regional leader.
